Young Harris, Ga. – King University baseball opened its Conference Carolinas weekend series on Friday afternoon, falling 11-0 to Young Harris on the road. The Tornado (10–22) played the Mountain Lions (25–7) in a tough match-up for King, giving up 13 hits on the day while hitting four.
Young Harris Pulls Away Early
Young Harris was able to pull ahead early in the first game of the series, scoring three runs in the second inning, putting King behind and unable to respond. They would score all but two of the next six innings. Pulling away in the first game, winning 11-0.

Pitching Notes
Rohde Kirkland pitched the most of 4.1 innings, striking out four batters and allowing nine hits.
Kade Pomeroy came in to finish one inning, pitching 0.2 innings with one strikeout.
Aidan Ricker and
Bhraedon Meredith each pitched 1.0 and 2.0 innings, respectively.
