Bristol, Tenn. – The King University Men's and Women's Tennis teams both fall in close matches to Tusculum University at home. Men's team makes it a nailbiter, falling just 4-3, while the women fall 5-2.

The King University Men's Tennis came into today looking to keep their winning streak alive, as well as in the positive column for wins and losses this season. In a close match, the tornado just weren't able to finish the match off, falling 4-3.

In doubles, King was able to get a win in the number one's match with
Lucas Machado and
Danny Neleman winning in a 6-3 win. The other doubles matches king would fall in 6-4 and 6-1.

The singles matches saw King battle hard to claim the victory, but he fell just short. King would win the number one, two, and three singles for King, but would lose the rest, letting Tusculum take victory.

Neleman would win in straight sets in the one-match winning set one 6-2 and set two 6-3. Machado won the three-match by forfeit.

Bar Meshel had another hard-fought match to claim the win in the twos match wining in three sets. He lost the first 6-3 and then won the next two 6-4 and 6-2.

The King University Women's Tennis team, looking to win another match to keep their season rolling in the right direction, fell short against Tusculum, losing 5-2. King was able to keep it close in the doubles ones match with
Deniz Aytun and
Rani Malhoe where they were able to take it to tiebreaker though still fall 7-6 (3-7).

Aytun was able to hold on to win by a forfeit after the first set. The other King victory also came by forfeit for Lily Blecher.

King's Malhoe had a close match, falling in straight sets, but both went to an extra point. Malhoe fell 7-6 and 7-5.
