Bristol, Tenn.- King University is celebrating a standout academic achievement as more than 200 Tornado student-athletes were named to the 2025 Conference Carolinas Fall Presidential Honor Roll, a recognition that highlights excellence in the classroom across the conference. The honor roll, presented by Southern Recognition LLC, includes over 5,000 student-athletes from across the league and reflects the commitment to academic success that defines Conference Carolinas institutions.
A Standard of Academic Excellence
The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned at least a 3.20 GPA on a 4.00 scale during the fall semester. The conference further distinguishes academic achievement with three levels of honors:
- Cum Laude: 3.20–3.59 GPA
- Magna Cum Laude: 3.60–3.99 GPA
- Summa Cum Laude: 4.00 GPA
All student-athletes are eligible—first-years, transfers, and those competing in non-conference-sponsored sports—so long as they participated during the semester.
