BRISTOL, Tenn.– The King University men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins Saturday in their home opener Sunday, but ultimately fell 5-2 to UVA Wise.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the doubles matches, Rohan Chalisgaonkar and Danny Neleman were able to pick up a victory, but King lost the other two matches giving the point to UVA-Wise
- Neleman won his match for the Tornado, winning 6-1, 7-5 at no. 1 singles.
- Rhys Halcrow was able to pick up a win in three sets by the scores of 6-3, 3-6 and 10-5 at the no. 2 singles
- UVA-Wise was able to take the remaining singles matches, however, Mat Vieira fought at no. 5 singles but fell short in the final set

- The Tornado will be home this Tuesday as they take on Bluefield State starting at 2 p.m.
