Bristol, Tenn. – The King University women's basketball team continued its strong December run with an 83–63 victory over Livingstone College on Thursday evening at the Student Center Complex. The Tornado improved to 5–4 overall and 2–1 in Conference Carolinas play, while the Blue Bears dropped to 1–9 (0–2 CIAA).
Game Flow
King set the tone early, edging ahead 20–15 after the first quarter. The Tornado broke the game open in the second, outscoring Livingstone 27–14 to take a 47–29 lead into halftime. Livingstone battled back with a 22-point third quarter, but King's balanced attack and depth proved too much. A steady 15–12 fourth quarter sealed the 20-point win in front of 122 fans.
