BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team fell to Conference Carolinas opponent Converse University on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 1-3. The Tornado are now 3-3 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Converse got on the board just 13 minutes into the game with two goals within 30 seconds of each other to quickly put the score up 2-0.
- King responded with a goal from Johana Martinez after a pass from Mia Van Groningen Dack to put the score at 2-1 less than 18 minutes into the game.
- The rest of the first half was a defensive battle as both teams combined for three shots.
- The Valkyries scored one final goal in the second half to seal the win.
