CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The King University men's wrestling team finished 11th at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals, beating #9 Tiffin in their final match of the day, 24-23 on tiebreak criteria 3.21.b.

HOW IT HAPPENED - #2 Glenville State
- The Pioneers took the first two bouts, before Ashtan Hendriks won a 9-7 decision at 141 pounds, making the score 9-3.
- After four straight Glenville State wins, Brad Mahoney won via pin at 184 pounds before the Pioneers won the final two bouts, winning 31-9 thanks to a team point deduction after the 197-pound match.
HOW IT HAPPENED - #9 Tiffin
- Hendricks again picked up the first win of the dual at 141 pounds, pinning his opponent in 56 seconds.
- King won at 149 pounds as well via forfeit to take a 12-9 advantage.
- After a win by decision by Tiffin at 157 pounds, Joe Bertrand won an 8-3 decision, starting a streak of three consecutive King wins.
- Clint Morrisette won a 11-2 major decision over 15th-ranked Jakob Hurley before Ethan Lopez won 14-2 at 184 pounds, giving King a 23-12 lead.
- Tiffin took the final two bouts, tying the score at 23. King won the tiebreak criteria based on most wins by fall, default, disqualification and forfeit, taking the extra point.
