HOW IT HAPPENED
- King had the first shot of the match in the third minute, taken by Pedro Herrera, but it missed wide left.
- Paul Ogynboye took a shot off a 19th-minute corner kick, but it was blocked by the Bobcats defense.
- Gauthier Lumale made his first save of the match in the 24th minute, keeping Lees-McRae off the board.
- Eric Swain took a shot on goal in the 37th minute, forcing the goalkeeper for the Bobcats to make a save.
- Coming out of the halftime break, the Bobcats got a pair of shots in the first 10 minutes, but neither got to Lumale, as one was blocked and one missed left.
- After a Bobcats shot hit the post in the 59th minute, Lumale made another save in the 60th minute.
- After another Lumale save, Joseph Elliott got a shot on goal for the Tornado in the 69th minute, forcing the Lees-McRae goalkeeper to make a stop.
- The lone goal of the match came in the 88th minute, giving the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.
- Renan Caruso got a shot off with under a minute left, but it missed left.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Elliott and Swain each had one shot on goal, while Ogunboye was one of three Tornado to take two shots on the night.
- Lumale finished with five saves in net for the Tornado.
