BRISTOL, Tenn. – Three members of the King University men's soccer team scored Saturday in their home opener, but the Tornado fell 5-4 to Young Harris College.
Pedro Herrera had two goals, while
Ryan Aliam and
Ricky Sexton both had a goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was Young Harris who found the back of the net first, scoring in the 21st minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- Just two minutes later, Herrera scored his first of the day, taking a pass from Anderson Moore and putting it past the goalkeeper to tie the score at one.
- Three minutes after that, Herrera scored again, this time off a pass from Leonardo Mercondes, putting the Tornado in front 2-1.
- Young Harris tied the score in the 29th minute, which would stand as the halftime score as neither team was able to get another shot off.
- King had scoring chance in the 62nd minute, as Renan Caruso had a shot on goal that was stopped by the goalkeeper.
- Gauthier Lumale also had a save a short time later, stopping a Phillip Abda shot.
- The Tornado took another lead in the 73rd minute, as Aliam scored the unassisted goal to put King in front 3-2.
- Young Harris then scored three goals in the next eight minutes, taking a 5-3 lead with 10 minutes to play.
- Sexton scored his goal in the 88th minute, pulling King to within 5-4, but the Tornado ran out of time before scoring again.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- This is the first time in his career that Herrera has had a multi-goal game, and he now has four on the season.
- For Aliam, it was his first goal of the season, while Sexton now has two goals this season.
FOR THE FOES
- Leho Le Louarn, Ivar Na Aga, Filip Zander and Leo Skogsfjord had goals, with Na Aga scoring twice in the match.
