Julianna Go of the King University women's golf team was named both Conference Carolinas freshman of the year and first team All-Conference, while
Lucy Holbrough was named second team All-Conference, with
Jasmine Sachdev earning third team All-Conference honors.
Go, a freshman from San Juan, Phillipines, won her first career event at the Agnes McAmis Memorial, carding a two-day 151 en route to a five stroke victory. She shot a total of 19 rounds on the season, with a stroke average of 77.84. Her season-low score of 71 came in the second round of the Bearcat Invitational. At the King University Invitational, she had a 36-hole low of 150, finishing tied for second. At the Conference Carolinas championships, she finished eighth, shooting a 73 in the final round to finish with 235.
Holbrough, a junior from Toton, England, completed 19 rounds this season, with a stroke average of 90.63. She had a second-place finish at the Buzz-Off Invitational, carding a season-low round of 72 in the first round, before adding a 75 in round two for a two-day total of 147. She finished seventh at the conference championships, shooting a 77-81 in the first two rounds before carding a 75 in the final round to finish with 233.
Sachdev, a junior from Bangalore, India, had a stroke average of 80.42 on the season. She was third at the Upstate Fall Intercollegiate, carding a pair of 76's, which stands as her season-low score. She also had a 10th-place finish as the Agnes McAmis Memorial and a 11th-place finish at the Buzz-Off Invitational. She was the top finisher for the Tornado at the conference championships, including a tournament-low round of 72 to finish with a three-day total of 229, placing fifth.
