Corbin Dickenson of the King University baseball team has been named the Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week after shutting down #25 UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon.
Dickenson, a freshman from Piney Flats, Tenn., threw a complete game against the Braves, allowing just one earned run on four hits with five strikeouts, earning the win. It was the second-least amount of hits the Braves have recorded in a game this season.
The Tornado are back in action this week, facing Emmanuel for their final series of the regular season. The three-game set begins Thursday at 3:30 p.m., with a doubleheader scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday
