BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team fell to the University of Pikeville on Sunday. The Tornado dropped the doubles point before winning three singles matches, but it wasn't enough as the Bears took the dual 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pikeville won the No. 1 doubles match 6-0 before taking the No. 2 doubles match 7-5.
- In singles play, Alex Sodre topped Alfonso Robinson 6-0, 6-2 at the third flight and Isaac Yang came from behind to win his No. 4 singles match.
- After dropping the first set 6-4, Yang won the final two sets 6-4 and 6-2 to defeat Mateo Vargas.
- King then took the No. 6 singles match by default, but Pikeville won the other three singles matches to win the dual 4-3.
UP NEXT
- King travels to NCAA Division I foe North Carolina A&T on Thursday. The dual is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
- Pikeville travels to Huntingdon University on Friday.
