ANDERSON, S.C. – The King University baseball team fell in the series finale on Saturday at Anderson University. The Trojan offense played well to hand King the 16-5 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nuno started the contest with a single before Conner Hyatt reached on a bunt single.
- Both later came in to score on a Huffman two-out single to give King a 2-0 lead.
- Anderson took the lead in the second inning, scoring six runs on five hits. The frame was highlighted by a Mac Ketchin two-run single that vaulted the Trojans into the lead.
- The Trojans added four runs, two on Kye Andress double in the third to take a 10-2 lead.
- Anderson added two-out runs in the fourth and fifth innings, extending their lead to 12-2.
- Huffman then ripped a three-run home run to left field for the tornado in the sixth, cutting the King deficit to 12-5.
- Anderson added four runs in the sixth inning to take the contest 16-5.

- Ketchin drove in three and scored three on two hits.
- Andress posted two hits, drove in four and scored twice.
