Tornado roll to win over Allen

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The #3 King University women's wrestling team won all 10 matches Tuesday night, winning their home opener 40-1 over Allen.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • #8 Avery Kibelbek won a 10-0 tech fall at 103 pounds before a double forfeit at 110 pounds.
  • At 117 pounds, Melanie Mendoza won via first period pin, needing just 0:33 to beat Crystal Mitchell.
  • King won the next two matches via forfeit before a 15-second pin by Alicen Dillard at 138 pounds.
  • After top-ranked Claire DiCugno won a tech fall, #1 Chey Bowman won via nine-second fall over Rakiyah Young to make it a 34-0 King lead.
  • #9 Alexa Garcia won 12-2 at 180 pounds, before Kenisha Jacsaint won a 5-1 decision at 207 pounds to close the dual.
