BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's wrestling team won eight of the 10 bouts Tuesday night as they won their Conference Carolinas dual, 39-7 over Allen University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the YellowJackets won at 125 pounds, Nico Crosnoe won at 133 pounds via first period fall, needing just 1:21 to pin Derrius Coleman and put King in front 6-3.
- The Tornado took a forfeit at 141 pounds, which was followed by Allen winning at 149 pounds, pulling to within 12-7.
- King went on to win the final six bouts of the night, including a tech fall win by Joe Bertrand at 157 pounds and a Trent Mahoney pin at 165 pounds that pushed the score to 23-7.
- Clint Morrisette had the fastest pin of the night, winning in 57 seconds at 174 pounds. The Tornado then won the final three bouts, with Ethan Lopez taking a major decision at 184 pounds before decision wins by Nathan Coley and Teo Armendariz to close the dual.
UP NEXT
- King will be on the road for the next month, starting Saturday when they compete in a tri-meet at VMI. The Tornado will face Edinboro at 1:00 p.m. before facing the Keydets at 5:00 p.m.
