PEMBROKE, N.C. – The King University women's soccer team dropped their Conference Carolinas matchup, 6-0 to UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King took the first shot on goal of the match in the eighth minute, coming from Izzy Brantley.
- The Braves had a pair of consecutive shots on goal in the 12th minute, but Olivia Seston stopped both of them.
- UNCP struck first in the 23rd minute, using a rebound off a shot that hit the crossbar to find the back of the net, putting the Braves up 1-0.
- The Braves added a second goal in the 39th minute, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- The Braves scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half, extending their lead to 4-0.
- Over the next 15 minutes, UNC Pembroke added two more goals, taking the 6-0 lead.
- King took their final shot on goal of the match in the 67th minute courtesy of Charlotte Hart, but it was stopped by the UNC Pembroke goalkeeper.
- The Braves took four shots on goal in the final 20 minutes of the match, all of which were stopped by Seston.
