GREENVILLE, S.C. –
Brianna Sabatino scored the game-tying goal in the 87th minute, but the King University women's soccer team dropped their road contest at Bob Jones University 2-1 Saturday afternoon after the Bruins scored under a minute later.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taylor Stubbs took a pair of shots on goal early, but both were stopped by the Bruins goalkeeper.
- It was the Bruins who would get on the board first, scoring in the 24th minute to go ahead 1-0.
- The Tornado had one final attacking chance in the closing minutes of the half, but a shot from Izzy Clark was turned away, sending the match into halftime with Bob Jones leading 1-0.
- Clark didn't waste much time in the second half, taking a shot just a minute in that sailed wide left.
- Stubbs took two more shots in the 67th minute, but had both stopped once again by the goalie.
- After earning a corner kick in the 86th minute, it was Sabatino who found the equalizer for the Tornado, scoring in the 87th minute to even the score at one.
- Less then a minute later though, the Bruins would score again, going ahead 2-1, which would turn out to be the final score as the Tornado were unable to score in the final minutes.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Sabatino's goal was her third of her career, and the first of the season.
- Kristal Garcia finished with six saves in net.
- Stubbs took a career-high five shots on goal.

- King will return to Parks Field Wednesday afternoon for a Conference Carolinas matchup with Lees-McRae College, with points in the "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" on the line. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
