MILLIGAN, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team won a pair of doubles matches Wednesday afternoon to take the point, but suffered their first loss of the season, 5-2 to Milligan University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rhys Halcrow and Andre Schiabel started things with a 6-4 win at the top doubles flight before Milligan took the no. 2 doubles match.
- The Tornado claimed the point with a win by Tyler Meade and Isaac Yang at no. 3 doubles.
- Alex Sodre had the lone singles win, taking his match at no. 3 singles 6-2, 7-5.
- After dropping the first set at no. 2 singles, Schiabel was able to force a third set by winning set 2 6-3, but fell 7-6 in the final set.
- Halcrow dropped his match at the top singles flight 6-2, 6-2, while Mat Vieira fell at no. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-4.
- Milligan took the matches at no. 4 and no. 6 singles to complete their win.
