- King got a pair of baserunners in the fifth, when MARTIN led off with a double to center field before Chase Hilliard drew a walk, though they were unable to scratch across a run.
- The Eagles would strike in the eighth, scoring four runs to stretch their lead to 8-0.
- King would go down in order in the ninth to close the game, with the Eagles winning 8-0.
