HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions took the doubles point, winning both doubles matches that were plated.
- In singles action, Neem Shamsuddin forced a third set, but dropped a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-2) decision at no. 3 singles.
- Emmanuel also took the first two singles flights before taking no. 4 singles as well.
- The Lions would win the final two matches via default.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado will continue their road trip Wednesday, when they take on Converse University at 1 p.m.
- Emmanuel will also play at Converse this week, facing the Valkyries Tuesday afternoon.
