MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The third-ranked King University women's wrestling team opened their dual schedule on Sunday at the Mount Olive Duals and returned to Bristol with four wins. King took wins over Greensboro College, Emory & Henry College, Frostburg State University and 20th-ranked University of Mount Olive.

HOW IT HAPPENED - GREENSBORO 46-3
- The Tornado took nine wins by forfeit to take the dual 46-3.
- Hailie Misplay of Greensboro earned a 12-6 win at 136 pounds to earn three points.
HOW IT HAPPENED – EMORY & HENRY 47-2
- In their second dual of the day, King took three wins by forfeit, four wins by forfeit and three wins by technical fall to take the 47-2 victory.
- Avery Kibelbeck pinned Mallory Howard in 2:31 at 109 pounds while fifth-ranked Melanie Mendoza followed with a pin of Natalie Sanchez in 43 seconds at 116 pounds.
- At 123 pounds, fourth-ranked Virginia Foard pinned Madison Wilson in 25 seconds before sixth-ranked Alexa Garcia earned the final pin for the Tornado, pinning Eryn Hubble in 2:40 at 191 pounds.
- Four-ranked Claire DiCugno, Yasmine Kalilliy Oliveira and third-ranked Chey Bowman all earned technical fall victories.
- DiCugno defeated Skie Roulo 10-0 at 143 pounds while Kalilliy Oliveira took a 15-2 win over Molley Keller at 155 pounds.
- Bowman defeated Katie Gakin 12-1 at 170 pounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED – FROSTBURG STATE 50-0
- King took seven wins by forfeit and three by pin to top Frostburg State 50-0.
- Alyssa Guardiola pinned Aurora Walters in 37 seconds at 116 pounds before third-ranked Montana DeLawder pinned Jada Fowler in 1:31 at 123 pounds.
- Anna DiCugno then pinned Lillie Costilla in 1:33 at 130 pounds to cap the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED - #20 MOUNT OLIVE 42-5
- In the 42-5 win, King took six wins by pin and three by technical fall to top the Trojans.
- Sixth-ranked Mia Zuniga took an 11-0 technical fall win over Juelenea Khang at 101 pound.
- At 109 pounds was a matchup of two ranked wrestlers as third-ranked Danielle Garcia pinned Mount Olive's seventh-ranked Samantha Miller in 2:21.
- Mendoza then pinned Gracia Crodasco in 51 secons at 116 pounds before a 10-0 technical fall for Foard at 123 pounds over Brooke Hermel.
- At 130 pounds, third-ranked Victoria Baez-Dilone pinned Brielle Bibla in 49 seconds before a 1:57 pin for Anna DiCugno over Angelica Steffy at 136 pounds.
- Claire DiCugno followed with a 10-0 technical fall over Skyelar Smith at 143 pounds before a Trojan victory at 155 pounds.
- King closed out the win with pins by Bowman and Alexa Garcia at 170 and 191 pounds, respectively.
- Bowman pinned Isabella Kessey in 19 seconds while Garcia pinned Jada Arnold in 3:57.
