BRISTOL, Tenn. -- The King University women's soccer team picked up a huge Conference Carolinas win, 3-2 over North Greenville Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Winters took the first shot of the game in the second minute, but her shot was blocked.
- Clark got the Tornado on the board in the 23rd minute, when she took a pass from Ella Froehlich and hit the back post, putting the Tornado in front, 1-0.
- The Tornado scored their second goal in the 43rd minute, when White took advantage of a loose ball situation in the penalty area, and was able to shoot at a open net, connecting to put King in front 2-0.
- In the closing seconds of the half, the Crusaders responded, pulling to within 2-1 entering the intermission.
- After coming out of the break, it took just 24 seconds for the Tornado to score again, this time it was Winters who scored, taking a pass from White and putting it in the upper-left corner, making the score 3-1.
- Kristal Garcia made a handful of saves for the Tornado, including in the 81st minute, when she made consecutive saves to maintain the lead.
- North Greenville scoffed a second goal with under a minute to play, but the Tornado were able to hang on for a huge conference win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- For Clark and White, it was their second goals of the season, while Winters scored her fifth in the contest.
- Kristal Garcia made 10 saves, the second time this season she has made 10 saves in a match.
FOR THE FOES
- Lindy Lamb and Elainee Sprinkle had the goals for the Crusaders.
- Haleigh Holland made one save in goal.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado will play a pair of road games to close the regular season, starting Wednesday at Belmont Abbey College. Kickoff from Belmont, N.C. is 4:30 p.m.
- North Greenville will host Emmanuel University Tuesday.
