BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team dropped a Conference Carolinas contest to Emmanuel University on Wednesday afternoon. The Lions scored four goals in the second half to defeat King 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King was on the attack in the early going as Tijani Ali Khelifaoui ripped a shot in the seventh minute and Eric Swain had one turned away in the eighth minute.
- The Tornado continued on the attack, taking four more shots in the opening 45 minutes, but couldn't place another on target.
- The Lions took three shots in the opening half and took four corner kicks.
- Gauthier Lumale came up with a save in the 26th minute for the Tornado to keep the game scoreless.
- In the final minute of the half, Kennth Walton's attempt narrowly missed the goal as it grazed the right post to send the game to the half with no score.
- Walton had another chance to start the second half, but it was off target.
- Lumale made another save for the Tornado, but the Lions broke through in the 62nd minute.
- Tomas Pollacchi took a pass from Alberto Meca and ripped his shot inside the right post.
- Samuel Botwright ripped a loose ball inside the left post in the 66th minute before Alberto Hernandez Meca made it a 3-0 Emmanuel lead with a penalty kick goal in the 71th minute.
- The Lions extended the lead to 4-0 on a cross from Rafael Calderon that was headed in by Matt Fitzer.
- King couldn't recover as Emmanuel took the contest 4-0.

- King placed one of their 10 shots on goal and took five corner kicks.
- Lumale made two saves.

- Emmanuel took 10 shots and placed six on goal.
