BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team picked up a Conference Carolinas win Friday afternoon, topping Chowan University 4-3.
Deniz Aytun and
Mishka Koricinova teamed up for a doubles win, and both won their singles matches as well.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams split the doubles matches, with Aytun and Koricinova winning 6-1 at no. 1 doubles.
- Aytun also picked up a win in the top singles flight, beating Micayah Porter 6-3, 6-3.
- Koricinova also won her singles match, beating Valentina Domenicone 6-4, 6-0 at no. 2 singles.
- Chowan would win the third and fourth singles flights.
- Mireia Mas Ortega won by default at no. 5 singles to clinch the winning point for the Tornado.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado will close the regular season Saturday afternoon, hosting Barton College.
- Chowan will face Lees-McRae Saturday afternoon.
