BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team fell to Conference Carolinas foe Emmanuel College 6-1 on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emmanuel won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point.
- The Lions won 6-3 at each of the top two flights and 6-2 at the third flight.
- Miodrag Popovich defeated Kornel Kimaszewski 6-4, 7-5 at No. 4 singles.
- The Tornado played tough, but dropped the top three singles matches in the tiebreak.
- Alex Sodre fell to Thembo Makhanya 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) at the top flight and Rhys Halcrow dropped a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) No. 2 singles match to Nathan Benoit.
- At the third flight, Andre Schiabel fell to Hassan Badran 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
- The Lions won the final two matches to win the dual 6-1.
