TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University men's tennis team played well on Friday afternoon, but fell at North Greenville University. The Tornado took three wins in singles play, but the Crusaders took the Conference Carolinas dual 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- North Greenville won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point.
- King got on the board when Miodrag Popovic defeated Kyl Praschan 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
- Mat Vieira followed with a come-from-behind victory at the fifth flight. He dropped the first set to Santiago Alvarez 7-5, but came back to take the final two sets 6-4, 7-5.
- A No. 1 singles, Alex Sodre earned a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Lucas Cardoso, but it wasn't enough for the Tornado as North Greenville won the dual 4-3.
