BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University baseball head coach
Blaine Brown has announced the 2023 schedule for the Tornado. King will open the season with games against regional rivals Emory & Henry College and UVA Wise before opening Conference Carolinas play.
The season-opener is slated for February 1 at home against Emory & Henry before a four-game set with UVA Wise. The Tornado open their 10-series Conference Carolinas slate at home on February 17-18 against Erskine College. The Tornado will host defending national champion North Greenville University on March 17-18. King closes the regular season on April 28-29 at Belmont Abbey College.
The Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship will be held at CaroMont Health Park in Gastonia, N.C. for the first time. The 5-8 seeds will play single elimination play-in games on May 3 to enter the double elimination portion of the tournament that runs through May 7.
