BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team opened their fall dual season with a 6-1 setback to regional opponent UVA Wise Sunday afternoon.
Rhys Halcrow had a singles win for the Tornado.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UVA Wise took both doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
- Halcrow and Andre Schiabel teamed up at no. 1 doubles but fell 3-6.
- The second doubles flight saw Alex Sodre and Mat Vieira battle, but drop a 5-7 decision.
- After the Cavaliers took the win at no. 1 singles, Halcrow picked up a win, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
- Schiabel battled at no. 3 singles, winning a game but ended up dropping the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-3

- The Tornado are back in action Monday when they travel for a road matchup with Emory & Henry.
