BRISTOL, Tenn. – Playing their second match of the day, the King University men's tennis team picked up a win over local for Milligan, 4-3 Saturday night. The Tornado won four singles matches on the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Buffaloes took the doubles point, though the Tornado pairing of Alex Sodre and Mat Vieira won their match, 6-4.
- At the top singles flight, Sodre continued his winning, taking his match 6-2, 6-3.
- Rhys Halcrow needed three sets to win at no. 2 singles, pulling out a 6-3, 3-6, 10-3 victory over Krishan Teneja.
- At no. 3 singles, Andre Schiabel took his match over Marcus Moreno, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).
- Vieira rounded out the night for the Tornado with a win at no. 4 singles, topping his for 2-6, 6-2, 10-5 to clinch the win for King.
UP NEXT
- This was the last scheduled match of the fall for the Tornado, who will open their spring slate on March 8 with a home match against Conference Carolinas opponent Erskine College.
- Milligan will face Tennessee State on Nov. 6 to wrap up their fall schedule.
