MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The King University men's soccer team fell behind at Chowan University on Saturday afternoon.
Kenneth Walton scored a goal for the Tornado in the second half, but it wasn't enough as King fell to the Hawks 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chowan controlled play in the opening half, taking 17 shots and allowing only two for the Tornado.
- Both of the King attempts in the first half were on target, but both were turned away.
- Ruben Laureano accounted for both shots, the first in the 25th minute and the second in the 41st minute.
- Chowan took the lead in the ninth minute on a goal from Tren Drexhage before James Randall made it a 2-0 Hawk lead with a gal in the 33rd minute.
- The Tornado deficit grew to 3-0 in the 52nd minute when Leke Ademola found the back of the net for Chowan.
- Laureano placed another shot on goal for the Tornado in the 71st minute, but it was turned away.
- Minutes later, Walton got the Tornado on the board, beating the goalkeeper to the far post, pulling King within 3-1 in the 79th minute.
- However, Chowan added another goal in the 81st minute as the Hawks took the contest 4-1.

- The goal for Walton is his eighth of the season.
