BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team returned to the court for its second of three consecutive home matches. The Tornado hosted Belmont Abbey College and fell to the Crusaders 7-0 on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles play, the No. 1 tandem of Alex Sodre and Andre Schiable fell to Bailey Horne and Kent Shiell 6-3.
- Belmont Abbey took the doubles point after a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles. The Crusaders won the third doubles match by default.
- Sodre played tough at the top flight in singles, but fell to Horne 7-5, 1-6 (6-8).
- Schiabel fell at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-2 to Nelson Stafford.
- Ross Edgar put up a tough fight before ultimately falling to Shiell 5-7, 6-3 (1-7).
- The Crusaders then won the final three matches to take the dual 7-0.

- King is in action again tomorrow as they host the University of Mount Olive at 11:00 a.m.
- The Crusaders return to action March 26 when they travel to Emmanuel College.
