SUMTER, S.C. – The King University men's tennis team saw their season come to an end on Saturday. The Tornado fell 4-0 to Barton College in the first round of the Conference Carolinas tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles play, the No. 1 tandem of Alex Sodre and Andre Schiabel fell to Diego Agudelo and Oscar Marmestedt 6-0.
- Alessandro Gerbino defeated King's Ross Edgar 6-1, 6-0 at the third flight match for Barton's second point of the day.
- Kyle Robinson was defeated 6-2, 6-2 by Gustavo Camelo to increase Barton's lead to 3-0.
- A default victory for the Bulldogs made the final score line 4-0 and ended the day early; per Conference Carolinas tournament rules, the match ends result is mathematically decisive.
- The loss for the Tornado marks the end of their 2021 season.
