BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team turned in a solid performance on Monday afternoon, playing to a 0-0 draw with Belmont Abbey College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was played fairly even as King took four shots to Belmont Abbey's five with each team having two corner kicks.
- Belmont Abbey had the first two chances in the opening 15 minutes, but both shots were off target.
- The first shot on goal came in the 18th minute, but Tornado goalkeeper Dalton Gammon came up with the save.
- The Tornado had a pair of shots in the opening 20 minutes as Ruben Laureano's attempt was turned away by the Crusader goalkeeper in the 20th minute.
- Gammon came up with another save in the 26th minute and the game went to halftime scoreless as neither team put another shot on goal the rest of the half.
- The Tornado went on the attack in the opening 15 minutes of the second half, taking three shots.
- The final attempt, coming from Samuel Corredor Rincon was turned away in the 60th minute.
- The Tornado defense locked down in the second half, only allowing one shot, which was off target.
- On the offensive side, the Tornado took seven shots with the Corredor Rincon attempt on frame.
- Belmont Abbey opened the first overtime with a shot from Aaron Madison that went off the crossbar in the 93rd minute.
- The only other shot of the period was off target as the contest went to double overtime.
- Gammon made his third save of the game on a shot in the 106th minute the kept the game scoreless.
- The only King attempt in the second overtime was off target as the contest ended in a 0-0 draw.
