TIFFIN, Ohio – The King University women's wrestling team made noise in Ohio today as they defeated No. 6 Tiffin University, No. 9 Gannon University and No. 10 Adrian College by a combined score of 130 - 9. The Tornado only lost two matches on the entire day.

HOW IT HAPPENED – TIFFIN
- No. 1 Jaclyn McNichols and No. 2 Aleeah Gould got the Tornado rolling with a tech fall and pin at 101 and 109 pounds
- At 116 pounds No. 2 Sujey Ceja picked up the win for Tiffin
- No. 1 Cheyenne Sisenstein pinned her opponent in 25 seconds at 123 pounds and Phoenix Dubose pinned her's in the second period at 130 pounds giving King a massive lead
- The fun did not stope there as No. 3 Ana Luciano grabs a 10-0 tech fall at 136 pounds
- No. 2 Ashlynn Ortega pins her opponent in the second period continuing the momentum
- No. 3 Tory Torres beats No. 4 Taylor Hites in a commanding 11-1 tech fall victory
- At 170 pounds Nia Crosdale gets another first period pin for the Tornado
- No. 2 Tavi Heidelberg-Tillotson pinned No. 4 Jessie Lee at 190 pounds to finish the dual
HOW IT HAPPENED – GANNON
- At 101 pounds the Tornado received a forfeit
- McNichols and Mendoza both won by perfect 10-0 tech falls at 109 and 116 pounds
- At 123 pounds Sisenstein got a first period pin
- Petix flirted with another tech fall but settled for a 10-4 decision
- Luciano and Ortega both win 11-0 at 130 and 136 pounds for even more Tornado bonus points
- Torres manages another first period pin for King increasing their lead to 29-1
- At 170 pounds No. 8 Annabelle Helm wins an overtime match over No. 5 Crosdale
- The Tornado received a forfeit at 190 pounds
HOW IT HAPPENED – ADRIAN
- At 101 pounds the Tornado received a forfeit
- It is worth mentioning that every starter on King's lineup is currently ranked top 8 in the nation
- King wins this match by a score of 47-1 and every wrestler won by either first period pin or technical fall
- The only point scored for Adrian was in a heated matchup between No. 2 Ortega and No. 4 Zoe Nowicki where Ortega won 12-2
