Isaiah Curry sealed the game and gave the Tornado an 82-79 victory to conclude the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
- King found early contributions from many different players in the opening stages of the game. Darron Howard cracked the scoreboard open with the game's first shot from beyond the arc.
- The Tornado and Hawks traded baskets for over half of the opening twenty minutes of play. With 8:31 remaining in the first half, the game was tied at 26 before a14-4 run from Chowan gave them a 40-30 advantage.
- Chowan kept the pressure on an eventually jumped out to an 11-point lead, 47-36.
- Curry nailed the last basket of the half as the Tornado went into the locker room at the break down 47-38.
Second Half
- The Tornado opened the second half on an 11-4 run to trim the score to 51-49. Howard drilled two jumpers as part of the run, in route to a double-digit scoring performance.
- Chowan knocked down a couple consecutive baskets to jump back out to a seven-point lead, 59-52.
- King was sparked by another brief run, outscoring Chowan 10-2 in a 3:21 period of time.
- The game was tied at 65 points with 8:54 remaining before the Tornado reeled off seven straight points to take a 72-65 lead, their largest of the afternoon.
- The Hawks responded with their own run, scoring ten consecutive points and reclaiming the lead at 75-72.
- A timely steal by Foust led to two easy points for King with just a few seconds remaining to seal the victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Curry led the Tornado in scoring with 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and an assist.
- Brandon Lamberth tallied 13 points to accompany his four rebounds.
- Howard posted a near double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
- Damion Ottman joined the party with a near double-double, recording 10 points and eight rebounds.
FOR THE FOES
- Jaedon Willis posted a game-high 21 points to lead the Hawks.
- Elijah Hill added 18 points as well as six rebounds and two assists.
- Jaylen Dilliard tallied 14 points as well as five rebounds and three assists.
- Jonathan McFall contributed with 11 points and six rebounds.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The 18 points for Curry sets a career-high, topping his previous best of 16.
