EMORY, Va. – The King University women's wrestling team had six wrestlers compete at the Emory & Henry Wasps Open Saturday, with four coming back as champions as well as a pair of runner-up finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Livia Kelingos-Spain placed second at 109 pounds, opening her day with a win by fall over Dusti Casperson before falling to teammate Deja Heatley in the third round.
- Heatley was undefeated on the day, winning a pair of tech falls, including a first-round win over Casperson before beating Kelingos-Spain to take the championship.
- At 116 pounds, Dianna Holmes started her day with a fall over TaQwai Seburn of Limestone, needing just 4:55 to secure the win. In her second and final match of the day, sho won a 15-4 tech fall over teammate Lesly Hernandez to take the top spot.
- Hernandez went 1-1 on the day, picking up a 14-4 win over Seburn before falling to Holmes in round three.
- Tiffani Baublitz had a busy day, going 4-0 to take the top spot at 155 pounds. She kicked things off with a 10-0 win over Limestone's Kelli Hernandez before winning 10-2 over Clara Padua Cruz. Her final two wins were both falls, as she pinned Mika Walters of Limestone in 1:12 before beating Lincoln Memorial's Stephanie Castro in 40 seconds.
- Nia Crosdale cruised through the 191 pound weight class, going 5-0, with three wins via tech fall and two via fall. After earning tech fall wins in her first three matches, she pinned Gabrielle Mendoza of Ferrum College in 1:18 before closing things out with a pin of Andreai Langley of Emory & Henry to take the championship.
