COLUMBIA, S.C. – The 24th-ranked King University men's wrestling team earned their third straight dual win to start the season on Wednesday night at Allen University. King won the first five bouts, en route to the 37-9 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rylee Billings got the Tornado off to a good start with a 3:30 pin of Reco Robinson at 125 pounds.
- Franky Medina followed with a 5-2 win over Nyshaad Hannon at 133 pounds.
- Third-ranked Christian Small earned an 18-0 technical fall win over Drevon Wallace at 141 pounds.
- At 149 pounds, Demetri Teddlie pinned Ya'Donnis Hardaway in 1:51 to extend the Tornado lead.
- The King advantage grew to 25-0 following Dallas Boone's 18-3 technical fall victory over James Dagin at 157 pounds.
- Allen earned wins at 165 pounds and 197 pounds to get on the board.
- At 184 pounds, Dalton Pearl defeated Christian Poplous 4-0 while Ty Kelly took an 8-7 win over Jyheem Macklin at 285 pounds.
- The final six Tornado points came from Samari Suddeath by forfeit at 174 to give King the 37-9 victory.
