Riley Moore scored his first career goal Wednesday afternoon, but Shaw scored in the closing minutes of the match to escape with a 2-1 win over the Tornado.

HOWÂ ITÂ HAPPENED
- It didn't take very long for the Bears to get on the board as Wissem Obeid scored his sixth goal of the season in the ninth minute of play to give the visitors the early 1-0 edge.
- King had a pair of scoring chances in the 24th minute, but both Moore and Ruben Laureano had their shots stopped by the Shaw goalkeeper.
- The Tornado tied the match in the 41st minute when Moore took a shot that hit the left goalpost and bounced right back to him, allowing him to deposit the ball in the back of the net for his first career goal.
- The second half saw the Bears dominate in terms of shots, as they took eight compared to just one for the Tornado. Four of those shots for Shaw were on goal, with Dalton Gammon making three saves for King to preserve the tie.
- Shaw broke the tie in the 89th minute when Obeid scored his second of the game to give a late edge to the Bears, who withstood a late charge from the Tornado to escape with the win.
