BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Tornado only had five players Saturday afternoon, but still pulled out a win over Emory and Henry, 5-2. King swept the doubles matches, and won four of the six singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At no. 1 doubles, Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova picked up a 6-1 win over the Wasps duo, while Mireia Mas Ortega and Marilyn Roustand won 6-4 to earn the doubles point for the Tornado.
- Three of the four King wins in singles play were in straight sets, with the only set that the Wasps won coming at no. 3 singles, where they won the first set before Mas Ortega stormed back to win back-to-back 6-4 sets to take the match.
- At no. 1 singles, Aytun easily topped her opponent, winning 6-1, 6-2.
- No. 2 singles saw Koricinova win 6-3, 6-1.
- Roustand stepped up at no. 4 singles and dominated, dropping just one game in the second set en route to a 6-0, 6-1 win.
- The lone points for Emory and Henry came at no. 5 and 6 singles, including a default at no. 6 singles.

- The Tornado are done with the fall portion of their schedule, and will pick up right where they left off Feb. 5 in a road dual against Lee.
