GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team played their first dual of the season at Tusculum. The Pioneers took the doubles point and won five singles points to take the match 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tusculum took the top two doubles flights 6-4 and the third flight 6-1 to win the doubles point.
- In singles play, Alex Sodre came up with a victory for the Tornado. He trailed Frank Bonacia 2-5 in the first set, but came back to win 7-5.
- Sodre then won the second set 6-1.
- However, the Pioneers won the final five matches to take the dual 6-1.
