MARS HILL, N.C. – The King University women's tennis team played well at Mars Hill on Wednesday afternoon at Mars Hill University. However, the Lions took the dual 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The doubles point went to Mars Hill as they took wins at the top two flights.
- Anna Mincey and Morgan Buchanan came away with a 6-3 win for the Tornado at No. 3 doubles.
- In singles play, the Lions took wins at the top two flights as well as No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
- Mincey defeated Haley Steinkamp 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and Murphy Harr topped Carli Stiles 6-2, 6-2 at the fifth flight.

- King concludes their fall schedule on Saturday when they host UVa-Wise at 12:00 p.m.
- Mars Hill is in action again on February 1 against Newberry College.
