Tornado open cyclocross season at Union

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The King University cycling team opened their cyclocross season with a solid day at the Union College (Ky.) race. The Tornado took home three third place finishes and four podiums.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the men's category A race, Matthew Owen finished third while Jameson Simms took ninth.
• Jennifer Caicedo finished third in the women's category A race and Kate Dietrich finished seventh.
• Dominic Giannantonio took third in the men's category B race and Dawson Sanders wasn't far behind at fourth.
• Ben Lightfoot rounded out the team with a 10th place finish.
