ATLANTA, Ga. – The King University women's wrestling team came away with a well-earned victory on Thursday night at Life University. The Tornado grabbed the lead early and cruised to a 31-11 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jaclyn McNichols got things started for the Tornado with a 10-6 victory at 101 pounds.
- The lead swelled to 8-1 when Lesly Hernandez earned a first-period pin at 109 pounds.
- Makayla Welch followed suit with a pin at 116 pounds before Briana Kellin earned another pin at 123 to give King an 18-1 lead.
- At 130 pounds Cheyenne Sisenstein came away with a technical fall victory before Alyssa Aceval earned an 11-5 win at 136 pounds to give King a 24-2 lead.
- Ana Luciano followed with a 9-5 win at 143 pounds and Rachel Hale earned a 6-0 decision at 155 pounds before King forfeited at 170 pounds.
- The Running Eagles took the match 191 pounds, but King took the dual 31-11.
