BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's tennis team squared off with another unbeaten team in Conference Carolinas play, the University of Mount Olive. The match was tight throughout, but the Trojans took a narrow 5-4 victory, handing King their first league loss of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado got off on the right foot, taking two of three doubles matches. Luis Delgado and Moritz Poswiat defeated Ogulcan Deniz and Sherzod Akramov 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
- At the third flight Lenny Keswani and Kyle Logue defeated Martin Moser and Yannic Stark 8-6.
- In singles play, Mount Olive earned wins at the top two flights, including a three-set win at No. 2 singles.
- Keswani took a win for the Tornado at No. 3 singles, defeated Moser 7-6 (7-1), 6-3.
- Jannis Walter earned a straight sets win at the fifth flight, defeated Stark 6-3, 6-3.
- However. Mount Olive took the final two flights to take the match 5-4.
UP NEXT
- King returns to action on Saturday when they host Barton College at 11:00 a.m.
- The Trojans take on Lees-McRae on Saturday afternoon.
