CELMSON, S.C. – The King University women's tennis team opened up Conference Carolinas play against Southern Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon in Clemson, S.C. The Tornado eased past the Warriors posting an 8-1 victory.

- Moritz Poswiat and Luis Delgado posted an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles over Camila Sandoval and Daniel Zapata.
- At No. 2 doubles Jannis Walter and Philipp Lindauer took a 8-3 defeat over Stan Grzesion and Urs Widow of Southern Wesleyan.
- Helping King take the early 3-0 lead in the match, at No. 3 doubles Kyle Logue and Lenny Keswani posted a 8-6 victory of the Warriors Keegan Barkley and Harry Reed.
- Poswiat kicked of the singles winning spree with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Sandoval at No. 1 singles.
- Playing an eight game pro set at No. 2 singles Delgado posted an 8-5 victory over SWU's Zapata
- At No. 3 singles Keswani earned a tough 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 victory over Grzeslo.
- Lindauer, also competeing in a eight game pro set, at No. 4 singles recorded a 8-6 win over Reed.
- Walter cruised to victory with a 6-2, 6-1 defeat over Southern Wesleyan's Widow at No. 5 singles.
