Killian moves up to third in national rankings

Division II Wrestling Coaches' Super Region II Poll

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University men's wrestler Bryce Killian stayed in the Division II Wrestling Coaches' Association poll in the latest rankings, moving up one spot. The junior moved up to third in the latest poll, moving up from fourth in each of the last two polls.

In the only competition since the last rankings, the 141-pounder took a 4-3 victory over Ross Benzell in a dual against Limestone College. On the season Killian has posted a record of 22-4, winning his last seven matches. He has also set a school record earlier in the year with eight technical fall victories this season as he is 8-0 on the season. Killian is also ranked No. 1 at 141 in Super Region II.

Reed Jacks and Andrew Lutterloh also cracked the Super Region II rankings with Jacks coming in sixth at 125 pounds and Lutterloh ranked fifth at 285 pounds.

The Tornado are in action again on Friday and Saturday when they travel to Coker College for three matches at the Super Region II Duals. King faces Coker on Friday at 6:00 p.m. before taking on 20th-ranked Ashland University at 11:0 a.m. on Saturday and 12-th ranked Tiffin University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
