BRISTOL, Tenn. – The top-ranked King University women's wrestling team continued their run of late, defeating 10th-ranked Life University in a dual on Saturday evening. Seniors Ashley Iliff and Samantha Klingel were both victorious in their final home dual as King took the 35-11 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Marina Doi started things off for the Tornado at 101 pounds when she pinned Kara Payton in 1:24.
- Iliff followed with a technical fall victory, pinning seventh-ranked Nikki Weidman in 2:22 at 109 pounds.
- King took a win by forfeit at 116 pounds before Klingel held off No. 6 Jennifer Juarez for a 7-6 decision at 123 pounds. Klingel jumped ahead 3-0 and held a 7-2 lead before Juarez came back, but the senior held her off for the victory.
- At 130 pounds, Hanna Grisewood took a 10-0 technical fall victory over Sam Ouye-Gonzalez, and Hannah Jewell followed suit with 10-0 technical fall victory over Katelyn Bridge at 136 pounds.
- The Running Eagles earned a win by forfeit at 143 pounds before Forrest Molinari pinned Raven Thomas in 1:11 at 155 pounds.
- Life took another win by forfeit at 170, and Jacqueline Williams capped the victory for the Tornado with a 10-0 technical fall victory over Jaclyn Fields at 191 pounds.
