Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. – Less than 24 hours after in exhilarating come-from-behind victory, the King University women's volleyball team clinched the outright Conference Carolinas North Division title for the second straight year. The Tornado offense powered King to the 3-0 victory over the University of Mount Olive to take the title.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado grabbed the momentum from the onset with kills from seniors Sarah Collins, Ashleigh Manke and Grace Underwood to give King the early 3-1 lead. King stretched the lead to 14-3 as they went on to take the set 25-16.
- It was more of the same in the second as Lauren Willoughby accounted for three kills and Ashton Beckner with one as King jumped out to ta 4-0 lead. The Tornado never trailed in the 25-16 set win to take a 2-0 lead in the match. King posted an attach percentage of .515 in the second set, making only two errors on 33 attempts with 19 kills.
- The Tornado used a 4-0 run early in the third set to gain an advantage they would not relinquish. Beckner and Underwood teamed up for back-to-back kills to give King the 25-14 victory, giving the Tornado the sweep.
- On a night that King honored their seven seniors, they led the way to victory, starting with Underwood who posted an attack percentage of .579 with a team-high 13 kills.
- Willoughby followed with 11 kills and 11 digs for the double-double while Manke added 10 kills and 11 digs.
- Hanna Bug Smyth added seven kills and Sarah Collins posted three kills in one set.
- Olivia Underwood dished out 46 assists and accounted for nine digs while Casey Williams rounded out the senior group with 11 digs.
- Amy Serowski added 11 digs and Beckner accounted for seven kills.
FOR THE FOES
- Danielle Plante led the Trojans with four kills and Britni Johnson posted a match-high 16.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- King clinches their second straight Conference Carolinas North Division title and their third straight conference title after sharing the regular season title in 2013.
- For Willoughby, the double-double is her second straight double-double and her 11th of the season.
- Grace Underwood matched a season-high with 13 kills and set a season-best with an attack percentage of .579.

- With the win, King earned the top seed in the Conference Carolinas North Division and will face north fifth seed Mount Olive in the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Tuesday night. First serve from the Student Center Complex is slated for 7:00 p.m.
