Box Score TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University men's soccer team has had a knack for scoring goals late in games, and they turned that into a win on Saturday night at North Greenville University. Chris Hicks scored the equalizer in the 78th minute to send the game to overtime before Eli Carrasco gave King the 2-1 win with a goal in the 98th minute.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Crusaders grabbed the lead in the 38th minute when Jonny Lind scored his second goal of the season.
- King controlled play most of the second half, outshooting North Greenville 11-1 in the frame.
- The Tornado placed six shots on goal in the second half and finally broke through in the 78th minute when Hicks took a pass from Luis Calderon and chipped his shot into the top of the net.
- King continued to press in the overtime, taking a pair of corner kicks and ripped a pair of shots that were off target.
- Carrasco sent the Tornado home happy when he laced a shot from the left side of the box that found the back of the net, giving King the 2-1 win.
- King outshot North Greenville 16-3 in the game and had nine corner kicks to the Crusaders' four.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The overtime game marked King's fifth overtime match of the season, the most since 2011 when the Tornado played six overtime games.
- It also marked King's first win in an overtime game this season, and their first since October 22 of last year when they topped Southern Wesleyan 2-1.
- The goal for Hicks marks his seventh of the year, and his first since September 12.
- Carrasco nets his second goal in three games, and his second game-winning goal of the year.
