Mount Olive (16-13 overall, 9-8 Conference Carolinas) finished second in the East Division to secure a first round home match. The Trojans won their final three regular season matches, including a three-set victory over King October 28 at Kornegay Arena.
King (13-5, 22-12) tied with Erskine for second in the West Division, but lost out on the tie-breaker despite defeating Erskine 3-0 Saturday in the regular season finale.
Tuesday's contest is one of four first-round matches. First round winners advance to the semifinal round Friday evening. The championship match is slated for Sunday afternoon, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA II Southeast Regional.
